Ex Maple Syrup Cask
This is fantastic Ex-Bourbon casks that has been used for storing Maple Syrup, an excellent idea indeed. We believe this will represent a first in Irish Whiskey as the Whiskey will be matured in the Maple Syrup cask from day one rather just getting a quick finish on a fully mature Whiskey. We expect a nice level of bourbon sweetness and of course maple to be very apparent in the final whiskey. The cask is 200 litres and your share will yield *approx 40 x 700ml bottles of 8 year old whiskey in 2029.
Pot Still
Pot Still new-make spirit distilled from special blend malted barley, oats, rye and wheat for a slightly heavier style whiskey, with a distinctive spiciness. Pot Still whiskey is unique to Ireland. The cask is filled at 63.5%. Your whiskey will be bottled in March 2029 at 43% and your Pieces of Eight share will yield *approx 40 x 700ml bottles of 8 year old Single Pot Still Irish whiskey.
*the approx yield quoted allows for a generous 3% per annum loss to the Angels Share, your actual bottling yield could be higher.
